Founded in 2010, the Association of McGill University Research Employees (AMURE) regroups research associates and research assistants working at McGill. AMURE is local 17601 of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC).
In June 2015, the postdocs paid by McGill voted to become a certified association also with AMURE.
